DLSS Updater
Keeps the DLSS and Streamline files in your games on the latest NVIDIA release (or a version you pin), puts the originals back with one click, and gathers per-game NVIDIA driver settings in one window.
Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit, .NET 8 (self-contained). Installer or portable exe. Privacy
Single-player games only. Replacing or injecting DLLs can trigger anti-cheat in online games. DLSS Updater flags games with known anti-cheat and asks before touching them, but no check is perfect. For online games, use the DLSS override in the NVIDIA app instead.
What it does
- Current DLSS everywhereReplaces every
nvngx_dlss*.dllin a game with the latest build from NVIDIA's own repository, or a version you pin per game. Update all re-applies after a game patch. - Streamline, matchedOptionally swaps a game's
sl.*.dllset for one matching Streamline release, never mixed. - Everything is reversibleOriginals go to a backup folder next to the game. Restore DLSS and Uninstall put them back.
- Per-game driver profileDLSS presets, render resolution, frame generation, Smooth Motion, FPS limiter and more, written to the game's NVIDIA driver profile. The global profile is never changed.
- OptiScaler and ReShade setupInstalls and configures OptiScaler and ReShade per game, with presets and key bindings, for people who already use them.
- Finds your gamesSteam, Epic, GOG, EA, Ubisoft and Xbox folders, plus any folder you add.
Screenshots will follow with the next release.
DLSS Updater is free. If it saved you an evening of copying DLLs around, you can chip in.
